My beautiful little Chevy Spark spinned on a snowy country road and smashed into a pile of firewoods. The front of it got completely crashed. When I handed it to Eastside collision centre, I wasn’t sure how they will fix it up. After 10 days, when I saw my brand new looking little “baby car” again, I was like: wow, they did such a great job! I can’t help write an email to the manager Danny: “You should be proud of yourself! Your job is like mending and fulfilling people’s lives, at least for me, my little spark is a big part of my life.”
Of course it’s a big bill, but considering what happened to my car, and the hyperinflation environment right now, it’s pretty reasonable!
Over the course, Danny communicated with me in great details: lots of pictures during reparation, detailed price breakdown, suggestions about parts used (if the aftermarket parts work or not). I felt released knowing the progress of the repairs.
They predicted in 10 years that AI will replace 90% of human work. We are forced to learn more and more AIs are going to take over the world. But for sure I won’t embrace that kind of future. And I believe the job that done by Danny is irreplaceable. He gave the human touch to my little car, and the human interaction is what the value lies within. This kind of quality customer service is what I wanted and treasured.
